How we started
IT PLZ HELP began as a business decision. Managed IT is a proven model, and we wanted to build something that could grow. What we didn’t expect was how much we’d enjoy it.
We came from enterprise IT, where the work is big and the people you help are often far away. Working directly with small business owners is different. The work is smaller in scale, the impact is closer, and people notice. We’re business owners ourselves, so we know the pressure of keeping everything running with too little time. We like being the ones who make that easier.
The name
IT PLZ HELP came out of a long list of domain names, and the person helping us build the brand said it was the one. It’s grown on us. It sounds like a person asking for help, not a service desk, and that’s the point. We’d rather be approachable and easy to understand than impressive. Our brand is built around the people we help, not just the technology.
What we believe
Everyone who deals with us should come out ahead
Customers should feel they got a good deal and that we never let them down. The people who work here should be treated well. And the business should be healthy enough to keep doing this for a long time.
Quality is how you get good, fast, and affordable together
We don’t think you have to pick two. Doing the work right the first time, learning from every problem, and improving the process is how quality lowers cost and saves time. That’s the standard we’re working toward.
Where we’re headed
We want to grow, because scale lets us do more, faster and more securely, while keeping things available. As we add people and knowledge, we want to pass that on as better service and better value. Our goal is for the basics of IT to be a solved problem, so we can spend our time on the more interesting work: helping the businesses we serve use technology to win.
Where we are
Our office is at 322 N Orange Ave, Suite B, Brea, and we’re members of the Brea Chamber of Commerce. We work with businesses across Orange County and with remote teams. See IT support in Brea.
Our team has led the IT side of corporate mergers and divestitures, managed multi-site environments, and worked in regulated industries. We bring the same thinking to small businesses, without the enterprise overhead.
